This is a 24-hour blood pressure monitor that you wear to give the doctor a better idea of your blood pressure readings.
A Holter monitor is a continuous tape recording of a patient's ECG for 24 or 48 hours. Since it can be worn during the patient's regular daily activities, it helps the physician correlate symptoms of dizziness, palpitations (a sensation of fast or irregular heart rhythm) or black outs.
V-Patch is an event monitor that is unobtrusive to wear and allows a patient to conduct his or her normal daily activities while being monitored continuously in real time. This monitor can be worn for up to a week to capture a patients symptoms.
