LeeAnn joined Specialist Cardiology in 2023 and brings with her extensive experience in cardiology. As Clinical Care Coordinator, LeeAnn oversees patient care management and ensures the delivery of high-quality cardiac services across the practice. LeeAnn works closely with our cardiologists to ensure continuity of care and a familiar and friendly face for our patients at the San.
Prior to joining Specialist Cardiology, LeeAnn has worked as a Clinical Nurse Educator at St Vincent’s Hospital. She was responsible for developing training programs for new staff in the Cardiac Cath Lab. LeeAnn also worked as a Clinical Nurse Specialist at North Shore Private Hospital, managing patient care in the Intervention Procedural Centre and Cath Lab. Her nursing journey began in the UK at Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation, where she gained valuable experience in ICU and HDU settings.
LeeAnn has a passion for structural heart interventions including TAVI, Mitraclips and other minimally invasive cardiac procedures. She enjoys following the patient journey from referral through to consultation, procedure and aftercare.
Outside of work, LeeAnn loves bushwalking with her dog, is a keen F45 participant, indoor rock climbing and travel.
